Our technicians help to assure product quality. Concrete tests may be performed before delivery or on the jobsite. When permitted, we can perform onsite testing and send reports to the owner or engineer. We have our own strength testing equipment and are certified to perform these tests. We’re able to design concrete mixes for special applications. We also do grading and chemical tests on our aggregates.
Rohrer’s technicians have multiple certifications for concrete and aggregate. All certifications are kept current so that all of our technicians know the latest industry specifications and testing requirements.

Rohrer’s Quarry is an active member of Pennsylvania Aggregates and Concrete Association (PACA) and Pennsylvania Concrete Promotional Council (PCPC). Our technicians are members of the Aggregate Technical Committee and the Aggregate Fines Committee under PACA, and the Concrete Technical Committee under PCPC. These committees help to set technical and specification standards for our industry. All technicians attend multiple programs and seminars to keep up-to-date on the latest industry innovations such as roller compacted concrete, pervious concrete and cement treated base.
